Fun at work 2/28/2012

Well i wasn't able to make TFF because i have to catch up on some bills. Nor will i make FWA or RCFM this year. :( I hate being responsible and prioritizing. But its for the best.
Sense the last post not much has happened at work. I tried to take some pics of some beautiful dogs, but you know how pups can be. They're just like children they wont sit still for anything. Our back room is filled with product that we wasn't able to put out because everything had to be counted for inventory. So tomorrow we have 12 pallets showing up along with a filled backroom, this week is going to be crazy.
This past weekend i went to visit my sister and mom. We had fun hanging and drinking a little bit, watching movies and playing video games. Yes were a lazy bunch haha, but that's ok I like to be lazy at times. So while I was hanging with family i was under the impression that i didn't have to be into work until 6am Tuesday morning, which was this morning. Come to find out I looked at the wrong schedule and i was supposed to have been in at 4am this morning instead, so I got a phone call at 4:09 saying I was late. I didn't show up until an hour later. That really sucked because i didn't get into bed until 10:30pm the night before, and it normally takes me 30 mins to an hour to fall asleep.
The better news about this weekend was that i got to bring all of my guitars back with me, and some equipment that i had been looking for. I have a couple of guitars that i need to fix, but that will have to wait until i get these bills out of the way. I want to buy my own recording equipment so i can write my own music and maybe later play music at a fur convention. That's my main goal, is to enjoy the two most important things in my life, which is furry and music. I'm also tore between getting recording equipment, or my first full suit. Don't get me wrong I'm always going to have Pewter with me, hes apart of me, he is me. But i have other suits in mind as well. I have plenty of time to think about it I guess. :3

On another note... Another musician =D That I didn't know about you.. Really we need to talk more. I myself am a musician and been at it for a good long time. I started with the pc composing with composing programs (notation programs to be precise) and started building on that. Eventrully I just got a bunch of keyboards over the years along with synths.
My Roland Juno-G actrully came with a really cool piece of software called Sonar 8. It allows you to use your pc to record and edit it all in a matter of minuits. Really a blessing of a tool and powerfull to use too.
Because quality is an issue with the standard PC not all pc's will record in a 24bit. So I got my self a new sound card and there not expensive, best buy has some really good ones for roughly $60. at the least when I got mine a few years back..
Guitars, depending on what they are really. Electric will be easy to record with the pc. Acustic are a bit in need of assistance. Either a really good studio mic, a really good bridge mic, or even pic ups. (steel stings only on the latter)
you don't need to go mega grand with your studio. After all everyone starts small and builds over time. But if you need any tips or tricks. Just hollar.
Music for me is a passion too, although I have sorta lost my muse to write, I still dibble and dabble (musicians block isn't fun =/)
I hope to see you at more cons too, Sadly so far alot are looking not so good to being able to make it.. life you know, always finding new ways to dip into your savings.
