Hooray for awesome concerts! I would have gone, but I'm just not as into VNV nation. But man, let me tell you, that time Blind Guardian came to town? I was one of apparently 80-100 or so people in the state of New Mexico who knew who Blind Guardian was, but everyone who did was just as fanatical about them (both opening acts and Blind Guardian themselves included a comment in the working-the-crowd bits about how the crowd was small in numbers but just as huge in enthusiasm) so the end result was basically an almost-private showing version of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xF79uBED6Gg . And yes, they did that song, and the "Nightfall" part of each chorus completely ruined my voice for the entire rest of the day. I regret nothing.

So yes, I can relate to when it's just that much of an awesome experience, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. ^^
