Hello from Singapore!
6 years ago
Okay, I only thought the flight from LAX to Tokyo was rough. The San Francisco to Singapore route has it beat by five hours, and my legs may never feel normal again.
Anyway! I'm out here on business this time, but I ought to be able to get in at least a little food tourism before I have to head back. I'm still reachable, but on a much different time zone than usual, so there will be a delay.
Hope you're all having a good time!

I've already passed the first test. All of the devices I brought with me can handle 230V without exploding, as I thought they would. A pretty good way to start things off, I'd say. ^_~
You got this.
Actually I don't know exactly where it is
I am a huge fan of Din Tai Fung and their Xiaolongbao.
Sadly we do not have that in Europe.

If you decide to try a Durian, be fairly warned that the aroma is... not for the faint of heart.
I've been acquainted with durian in the past, and I think I'll probably have to pass should the opportunity come up again. I'm pretty adventurous with food, but once was enough for that particular beast. ^_~;
On the matter of durians, there's really nothing wrong with disliking a certain food or dish. My feeling is if you tried it and honestly didn't like it, then that's the end of it.
I'll try just about anything at least once. Can't find your favorite if you don't try everything!
I am glad you liked Beef Rendang. :}
*Hugs*
