As I earlier said, I got a few apartment offers going on up north from Stockholm, in an town two hours away by train, but in the middle of the process I got an very surprising phone call.

For the last few years I have been trying to get an apartment in the capital, or somewhere just outside it. However in Stockholm there is a huge problems with a lack of apartments right now, and the standard is that you have to wait at least five years before you start to get offers. I have waited for two and a half years, and finally felt it wouldn't be worth the wait, so I decided to move up north.

The phone call I got was on the last apartment I had registered an interest in, several weeks ago, and completely forgotten all about it since I was looking on other cities now. The lady on the phone;

"Well, you are first in line on this three room apartment outside of the capital, so if you want it, all I have to see is that you have the proper income and it's yours."

I was like; "Oh I want it, trust me, I want it. I can come in first thing Monday morning with the papers."

So I received her phone call on Friday, gave her my papers on Monday, and Tuesday I was back in to sign the contract. And now I have it, an three room apartment just about one hour outside of the central station of the capital of Sweden. I can claim the apartment the May the 2nd, after that, I have my own place.

Now. Forgive my egocentric moment....but right now, I feel so awesome. *smirks*
