Lets start with the big stuff first shall we? Okay so first my car, 2007 Suzuki Forenza, decides that whenever it shifts into overdrive it might lose the drive gear entirely and drop me into a limbo where all I have is third second and first, neutral and reverse. Not that big of a deal unless it happened when I am driving seventy five eighty down the interstate trying to make it to my eight am class. That’s when all kinds of fun driving took place. Now it gets better. Not only did the part I need to fix my car half to be a fuck ton of money, 185 bucks, No it’s a dealer part and I have to order it from the dealership, So I can’t get it used in other words. Well I sucked it up and got the part replaced at a mechanics. While he was air ratcheting, or what ever that thing is called, my PNR switch out, SOMEHOW he managed to snap an engine mount. So I have to save up the money to get a new set because apparently “You can’t get just one mount and pad you need the whole set.” Which are about eighty bucks. So here I am having to be extra carefully on northern New York roads with a car that the engine makes weird noises and the best part, THE BEST PART. Is the mechanic that fixed it yeah he told me that he could install the parts for me for half labor cost because he just “Did not know it would happen.”

Well that’s the car stuff out of the way, now onto school. Its not as bad but thanks to the car issues and not having a reliable ride into school I have missed to many morning classes and had to drop my Psychology class, which is okay I did not need it for my major but what really pisses me off? Is that my English, math, and Biology professors somehow heard about this and approached me either before or after classes asking if I was going to drop their classes as well. I am not one to give up but with the grades I am pulling this semester I might have to retake these classes over. Math has never been a strong suit of mine and I think I have a 67% overall so far, English I am a little better as I have a 72% overall but Biology I have a ZERO because I missed one lab. I have tried almost everything and the professor is trying to work with me but he said I will need to get two perfect labs to even pass his class with a D. UGH, now I know this sounds like I am bitching a lot here, and I also know most of this is my fault, but I did say this was a rant to begin with.

One final thing before I close this down and head to bed. I have been paying six hundred dollars a month for rent which is pretty reasonable to be honest. But my landlord hit me at the end of February that she will be raising my rent to eight hundred and fifty dollars a month. This doesn’t seem that bad, if I was not a full time student and could find a place that will hire a former soldier up here in snow land, especially a female soldier with as many problems as I have. Things are starting to get really tight and rolling downhill fast. I might have to rejoin the military just to make ends meet, or worse drop out of college and move back in with my mother. *Shudder* well that wraps up this rant. If anyone has any ideas please let me know, one thing that my school does have is free internet so I should be able to respond after a bit.
