I just got done watching the first episode to MLP: Magic is Friendship.
I have, for quite some time, thrashed the MLP fandom for all its worth. I then conjured up the idea, "Hey.. Why hate something without probable cause?" So with an open mind, I watched the episode.
Ohh lord.. What can I say? It's not a bad little show. I kinda want to see what happens next..
The animation is good, the characters are likeable (some more than others), and the story actually left me wanting more.
Can I see myself as a Brony? Not sure..
Have I walked the walk when it comes to being "open minded"? I believe I have.
Will I have more respect for this fandom and the people/art/lifestyle involved? You betchya.
So before you hate blindly, like myself.....
Give them little ponies..a little chance...so... the world can be a..slightly happier place...because friendship....Friendship is Magic.

With MLP, there is only one style..and this style gets repeated over and over and over and over and over again in almost every type of fanart.
It's not bad art...It just gets repetitious.
I have in the past became infatuated with other children's cartoons and tuned in every Saturday morning because I could not miss an episode. I look back now and see that they were in no way any better that MLP, just that "I" actually liked it.
