Writer's Challenge: All but the Hero
So I'm thinking of organizing a writers challenge. The challenge will feature around 10 writers(depending on how many we get), which will be organized into two teams.
The story will be of a fairly simple hero chasing down and attempting to defeat a villain(or maybe not so much?). The twist is that each writer will make a character which will tell their story of the events as they unfold from their perspective. I will make a detailed outline of what the hero and villain have done for each scene, but no one will be writing the hero or villains story.
This won't be an easy task since scenes will most likely need to be changed by all to include details from others(if needed), but before writing a scene each person will be submitting an outline of what their character is going to do so others have a general idea of where they are and what they are doing. If you don't submit your stories/changes in a timely manner or wish to stop altogether, your character will be given a tragic end(but possibly with events that can bring them back).
Setting is recent futuristic, may or may not be this world. Cybernetics, gene change therapy(yes, including furries) and mind transfer are semi-reliable technologies.
Blue Team(Typical Hero Squad) - Can include an civilian drawn into the events and up to two minor heroes that are typically not along with the hero, the other two are sidekicks of the hero. One can be a double agent.
1) Nameswalker - Bernard 'The Controller' Talamia (Gadget sidekick to the herro)
2)
3)
4)
5)
Red Team(Villain? Squad) - May or may not know the Villain's true objective(at least one should know or one should not, the more even the split the better). Can be Lieutenants or just Minions that somehow scrape by and are in most the scenes. One can be a double agent.

If you have interest or if you know someone that might be interested, send me a message with your character concept.

Mission Accepted. I will participate on either team. Please update me as more of the settings are decided. I can fit in any setting with any premise, and will probably do something wierd and underpowered on a more serious basis. Just... please don't stick a stickybomb on me and blow me up, because that would be a bit anticlimatic. ... THERE'S SO MANY WAYS TO DIE!!! AYEEE!
