Well there's tons of youtube videos about it, one from a girl that's from there.
Plus the video that sparked this KONY thing was taken place in 2006 :/

I asked for specific links because I had been finding articles and things on the /old/ video from 2006 and, not knowing there were two videos, thought the stuff in the article applies to the new one that's going around. And figure other people got confused as well.

I think he's pretty much left (I think driven out) of Uganda but is messing around in nearby areas.

Mostly likely, that area has been bad for years, there's not much the USA can really do.
