How's that change going for you democrats who voted for Obama back in 2008 elections? You can keep your change, I don't care about your so called "change."
The rise in gas prices are set by international standards as to the price of gas prices elsewhere. Until the US is completely independent from other countries, nothing will change. The oil pipeline for refining gas, nOpe! Drilling on federal lands in Alaska, nOpe! How about establishing more drilling in the gulf after establishing new standards and inspections, nOpe!
Obama is awesome you say? Fuck you sister, keep your "change."
I quite honestly don't care what the gas prices are though, I will just raise my own rates as to what I charge people to offset the rise in prices. I'm a moderate republican, what I charge will be passed back to consumers.

a max of about 20% of the energy of burning gasoline goes into propelling your vehicle forward. Cleaner more sustainable energy is not just on the horizon, it's a possibility now, and it is just not being used like it ought to for several reasons preventing so called "Change." It's a complex issue (especially once you start looking at the market system that helps perpetuate it), and we seem to be working against progress as a whole species because of it.
So, you still stand by your claim that "until the US is completely independent from other countries, nothing will change"? Heh!
