GOING OUT TO EAT FOOD!
Ricky's :D Maybe ill have the supreme commander pizza? or maybe a philly cheese-stake sammich? or or um apple pie!
Today's lucky numbers are: A, $, and 42
apparently Canada is boring :( *cries all over the place*
on a side note I did go to the hardware store and got a bunch of different types of um thingies (nuts with round caps on the end) i guess some sort of finishing fastener thing. anyway got some nylon ones, steel, and some brass ones to experiment. The hard part will be making the cup part of the socket and getting the parallel arms to fit into the socket and to use springs or some sort of tension type of device to hold the parallel arms together so that the socket doesn't detach from the ball part during high speed high load conditions.
Having trouble with the field generator, DC burns up the coils so I wanted to use AC but that periodically causes the field to collapse so that leaves me unshielded for a short period of time. The solution would be to minimize the losses and zero crossing (low field intensity) region by using a square wave AC source that's high frequency and increase the surface area of the conductor used in the coils to allow for the skin effect to ultimately reduce resistive losses. I don't think peltier coolers are going to be enough to make a sort of solid state controlled near zero temperature for the coil housing :(
