Videos of My New Rat Boys!
Well had a wee bit of a secret the past few weeks and I figure I can show them now.
I have two new baby boy rats, still nameless and now 8 weeks. Dumbo black poorly rex variegated . I didnt want to post about them till I was sure my older boys would take to them else I'd have to find them another home. Luckly my boys just see them as snuggle buddys who sometimes wake them up with their play fights. Its amazing how well they have all taken to each other. The boy with the squiggle mark and the belly button is like a mini Smee tag along and the other who I've pet named fatty ( i have to do better then that lol) is just like Ni and is often curled up with him under the liner. I couldn't be happier.
Why get more rats ? Rats dont live long...and when you cant be sure of the genes you cant really expect them to make the golden 3 year mark. only a few months separate the ages of my older babys and to lose them all at about the same time is something I dont want to think about. So while my boys are still young I got a young pair of brothers to mix with them. I'm only keeping boys and when my girls cross they will have the whole DCN cage to roam.
But yeah enough sad talk, take a look at them <3

If your cage is big enough and you have enough time for more I dont see how getting a few new babes would hurt :D
I have been thinking about it since I lost one of my hairless boys, just have to find a good breeder in my area that doesn't charge crazy prices.
I must commision you for something, but what in the world should it be :EEE
