Blurbs and rambles update. 3/22/12

So the past week hasn't been very productive. Until today.
I've mostly been out of the house. I attended a furmeet, traveled to my mother's, then traveled alllll the way to Canada to spend time with my sweetheart for her birthday, which was on the 21st. Had a wonderful time.
Getting there was a bit of a fiasco. I made it all the way to the border before realizing I left my passport, the ONE CRITICAL possession I needed, at home. Normally it's only about a 2.5 hour drive, which is a piece of cake. Well. Driving there, back, and then there again ballooned my driving time from 2.5 hours to about 6. UGH. Thankfully my dad was kind enough to meet me halfway at deception pass to relay the passport to me, which saved me an hour or two off of what would have been a 7-8 hour drive.
Needless to say, I'm NOT letting this happen again.
Velux's running icon is 80% complete, and will be completed tomorrow. I got three frames completed today. Total time on this icon is estimated at 5+ hours. I apologize for the delay. The icons are very time intensive, regardless of shortcuts, due to coloring most of each of the four frames pixel-by-pixel.
Borrowed Jasper's drawing tablet since she wasn't using it. My level of drawing is horrid (oh look at these stick figures!) so you won't see much drawn "art," but I will try my hand at some photo-manipulation and maybe doing some color work using public domain templates.
Work is (slowly) progressing on Biohazard Level Zero. I still am brainstorming scenes involving Jasper, Saisha, and the most recent winner of my kiriban. So far I have the locations picked out, a strip club and an ancient themed (by timeline standards) 50's drive-in diner for Jasper and Saisha respectively. Character development, a critical aspect for me to continue writing the primary plot, is advancing nicely. Be on the lookout for crude ref sheets for some of the Biohazard characters. Expect large censored sections.
I have the sudden urge to play this song on a DDR game.
