And then a Transformer Blew down the street!

we have a foundry just down the street. sometimes they have a bit of moisture in the pots and when the hot metal hits them BOOM! so we are used to sudden booms. though they are awesome to watch at night since HUGE clouds of very unhappy steam rush out of the building illuminated redish orange from the molten metal. looks like the city catches fire. But that boom usually does not come with sudden and complete darkness.

it only took a few hours to get the lights back on actually. and that long to also get the filter on my koi tank to work again. there was lots of swearing and crying and praying and beating of things with other things that were never meant for beating anything with. Cause you know my Koi that are left alive REALLY NEEDED MORE FUCKING STRESS. so far no floaters but the filter is gonna need more work when i wake back up which means probably another hour or two of beating the fuck out of it. ain;t no money for that laying about yet.

and now that it is 4 pm i got the comp up. the power came back on around i think 4 something or earlier. AM. and there is a strange buzzing in my comp now.


but at least my upstairs wall sconces are placed well. at least the ones i have up there right now. we need a few more around the house for when the end of civilization comes.
