Welcome to the Journal of OtakuMan24 Game Player. Hope you're ready for rants and ravings on video games and other miscellaneous topics.
PeterandCompany is doing a KickStarter to have their webcomic made into an animated series! Click here to learn more and show your support!Hey folks! Things are certainly breezing along here now that things are finally getting going, and that also means that we got a new page of Year of the Cow for your enjoyment!

That's right, this is Page 14, and it's filled with angst and living bushes!
...and I'm keeping my mouth shut beyond that so I don't stick my foot in it! :)
Also, on a more serious note, my partner in crime,
dyw14 and I have been thinking......with the recent "KickStarter Spring" that started back around mid-February, would anyone be willing to pledge towards a "Year of the Cow" kickstarter campaign if we started one?
and I don't make much money. Our computer power is also limited and a bit old.
dyw14 even does the digital work for the comics (which is the majority of it) on a Windows XP desktop PC. Plus, the software we use is primarily open-source, and I know for a fact that if we had better tools, we could get more pages of the comic out to you folks faster, more reliably, and also improve the overall quality too.Not that the quality of the comics is bad, far from it, but you know what I mean.
Plus, there's a lot of other things we want to do as well, such as do LiveStreams of the comic being made, post speed paint videos to YouTube, even see about doing audio comics! (The comic stays still, but we, or other voice actors/actresses on FA, add vocal talents to make the comic richer!)
These are just ideas, but if we asked for pledges, would you be willing to do that?
After all,
peterandcompany is already well on his way to meet his KickStarter goal to make an animated pilot episode of his webcomic to shop around to networks like Nickelodeon, The Hub, Cartoon Network, Toon Disney, etc., so why not one to help get better hardware and software for making the comic?Whaddya say? Would you be willing to back something like that?

I also saw your latest journal, "As if inking comics wasn't enough", and have been trying to think of a good proper response to it. Hope you don't mind the delay. :)
Me being a pro wrestling referee is almost a lifelong dream, just like being a comic-book artist was a longtime dream. Sure beats delivering pizzas (heh).
And I remember you telling me about the pro-wrestling referee job. How's that coming along? :)
Lei piped up on an OLD comment of mine from a couple years ago. i replied in note. The reply became a discussion, then apologies. I was ready to depart when she made me promise to come back to FA. So, I'm back.
It's been all right thus far. No brickbats. Most of the old gang are watching or being watched. I had to retire one of my isms. The one about how no one ever attempted to mend fences. I doubt anyone else I'm at odds with in furdom will follow Lei's example, but that's up to them.
"There's a First Time for Everything" :)
I'm glad to see you back, and glad to see that someone broke the mold and took that step forward to reconnect. Who knows what else that might lead to down the road? You never know! :)
Please don't say "you never know". I usually know.
It was a positive deal. I'm back. Reception has been good. Most of the ol' gang is watching or being watched, and NO brickbats. Either my multitude of adversaries finally wised up and decided it wasn't worth maintaining hatred for someone they couldn't attack, or they found someone else to attack.
