ARTISTIC PREFERENCES*: (this is not a will/wont draw list)
+ strong likes: detail, interesting natural scenery (all types), woodland/forest (old large trees, moss), jungle, water (moving water, waterfalls, underwater, mist), spring-time, pre-history, animals (obviously), cats (all kinds).
subjects, themes, etc:
+ general likes: nature, rain, glow-in-the-dark (especially greenish hues and natural sources), iridescence, caves, rocks/minerals/etc, greenery, ice, old buildings (especially churches and ruins), fur (especially natural red and grey tones), evolution, armour, spikes, planets / other worlds, swamps, mutants, the female form, tribal females, stocky males, clean/non-suggestive artwork, tasteful/artistic/casual nudes (especially females), green, grey, peacock colours, feral and anthropomorphic animals (obviously).
– not fond of: humans, humanoids, vampires, devils, pirates, superheroes, holidays (christmas/halloween/etc), mustard yellow, pale pink, rainbows, shapes/symbols (hearts/stars/crowns/etc), fads/trends/memes, modern architecture, babies, hyper-girly/feminine, make-up, heavily unrealistic proportions (especially for fetish purposes), "herms" for fetish purposes, adult and highly suggestive/flirtatious scenarios, humiliation, images with a main focus on male genitalia, man pleasing, fetishes, bodily functions.
art types:
+ likes: realistic/semi-realistic work, traditional mediums (drawing, painting, sculpting), originals, unique crafts, 2D & 3D digital works, pixel art, animation. full scene illustrations, reference sheets.
– less interested in: modern art, photo manipulation, AI, memes, adoptables with multiple versions/recolours, fan characters, mass-produced items, heavy use of pre-made elements (such as complex digital brushes or jewellery made with purchased pendants), decorated real animal parts (such as painted real skulls, undecorated is fine), pornography, and non-visual arts such as writing and music (which I don't dislike, but just pay less attention to).
additional:
more likes/dislikes are listed here.
feel free to ask if you want to know how i feel about specific subjects.
likes and other information more specific to certain characters might be found within the character page/info.
feel free to browse my favourites or ask questions to get an additional impression of my likes.
other preferences:
i tend to prefer characters to be drawn at some sort of angle rather than completely side-on or front-on, as i feel it helps get the most from the character.
unless it is clearly agreed upon by both parties, i do not agree with artists re-using and selling original art that has been personally commissioned (referring to editing and reselling commissions that utilise someone else's idea or character).
* this should be fairly obvious, but this is merely a list that aims to help artists create work for me by highlighting my preferences. i have nothing against those with differing interests etc.
