I've been having some problems with my monitor: It has a bad habit of going black, particularly when I'm online. Tried replacing the cables, updating drivers, changing resolution settings, even switching monitors but the problem still persists. Have to restart the computer whenever it happens, (sometimes multiple times). Any idea what the problem is, and how to fix it, or do I need a new graphics card?
The best thing to do if you are able to is to try using a spare you might have laying around for a few days or see if you can borrow one from a friend for a few days to see if you get the same issues or not with another graphics card in your computer.
Good luck though.
I'm soon graduating from a Computer Programing/IT course, so I'm pretty knowledgeable with this stuff :) Note me or comment back if you have questions. Thanks for discribing the troubleshooting you've already done. That helped a lot!~
