"Cunt" Boys - The Problem
I've got a problem with the term "cuntboy". I'm really interested in the justification of other people using it, because I, at the moment, don't see any benefit nor difference between calling someone a "cuntboy" and "FTM" (assuming said individual identifies as a trans* person, because you can have female genitalia, a male gender, and NOT be FTM).
"Cuntboy" seems to have started off as some type of odd, derogatory lingo in the furry community, back when the light on trans* folk wasn't really shining too bright - AKA no one knew that people out there truly existed. By calling someone a "cuntboy", you're basically saying "you're a boy with a vagina". And while for some people, this is just a fact, for other people it's down right degrading.
We first have to analyze how derogatory the word cunt is and there are a lot of feminist arguments against it. It's a slang word to refer to a vagina, but it's also what a lot of people have used to call people they think are general jerks AKA the same meaning as the word "dick".
My point is that it's flat out wrong to generalize and refer to someone by their genitals. By calling someone a "cuntboy", you are essentially saying;
Your genitalia is more important than your gender identity so I will refer to you that + your gender identity tagged on at the end.
And that's a problem.
Because in case you haven't noticed, people are more than their genitals. There are so many more appropriate words to describe a guy with female genitalia, such as -
1) A guy.
2) Trans* guy / FTM (or however they identify)
3) FAAB (Female Assigned at Birth) - used between doctors when describing patients with female genitals and sex, but do not identify with their sex.
4) CAFAB (Coercively Assigned Female At Birth) - More popular with intersex folk, nearly synonymous with FAAB.
5) A GUY.
Come on, furry community. Someone really needs to spread that the word cunt boy is both foul and degrading. Being a FTM myself, I really am not fond of the word and what I don't want to happen is for people to think "cuntboy" is a clever nickname for fellow FTMs, or even worse, they think that it's actually a synonym for FTM.
I have the same problem with the terms "dickgirl" and "shemale", but that's another argument and I encourage MTFs and anyone else to stop people form using that term too.

But my problem with "c-boys" is that it's no different than saying the whole word. Cuntboy. It's attempting to appease and pacify an offended audience (actual intersex men and also FTMs or anyone else who has a female genitalia but identifies as male), but instead of trying to find a new term they just censor out the degrading part - "cunt" - but that's not how you solve an issue.
You solve an issue by thinking of something innovative and new, and frankly, I don't think shortening it so "c-boy" is new or innovative. No offense, but I think it was a lazy attempt to make a term "pleasant", even though we all know what it means. That's like when parents make up gibberish words for genitalia when they talk to children. Come on; we know what you mean.
After talking to my fiance, I did realize that "c-boys" are cisgender males who have female genitalia AKA intersex males. But saying they're "male at birth" is insensitive to trans* guys who do believe they were mentally male at birth, they were just born with the wrong sex. The term "cisgender" is a lot better than "___ at birth".
I'm all for a group called "IntersexGuys of FA". I-Boy or I-Guy (short for intersex-boy or intersex-guy) is a lot more appropriate and appealing term rather than "cuntboy" or "c-boy" or whatever people shorten it to.
Again, I have no problem with intersex males - I simply have a problem with the term. I'm sorry if I possibly offended you, but being a FTM, it's important that people understand that
1) c-boys are not the same as FTMs unless they identify as such
2) Do not try to call a FTM a c-boy.
Because after having a conversation with another FTM of mine, he's told me in the past on FA he's been called a "cuntboy" affectionately after putting on his profile that he was a FTM trans* guy. That's not okay and I feel that a group such as "c-boys" or "cunt boys" or "dick girls" continues to promote an inappropriate word that continues to fly around this type of community.
