From the other side...
I've finally cleaned out my submissions inbox. I've been art-ed out for the week. I've also earned shouts asking if I've gone "Fave-Crazy," which is kind of fun.
In other news, I'm about ready to cut a chola...either that, or get her ass fired. My co-worker closed the boutique today and went home without locking the door. It's a long story, but I arrived there to find 5 Latina women browsing through the store like they were hot shit with no one to oversee them.
The minute I walked through the door, the 5 of them all filed out like they had something to hide.
I immediately called the manager and explained the situation, then called my co-worker and explained the situation to her. My co-worker tried to blame the manager for what she did.
shortly after, my manager and I sat down and had a nice long conversation about what's been going on in the shop, both on the financial part on her end, and on the workforce on my end. We got a lot of stuff in order... and my co-worker ended up halfway up the shit list.
Since then, my co-worker has spun up a whole mess of a web of drama, including when she called me at 9:30 to get on my case for telling my manager that she was immediately on the phone with her boyfriend as soon as she walked through the door of the shop today, and that our EX co-worker was talking shit about our head manager causing animosity between the manager and my co-worker.
After all she's done today, with all the unprofessionalism, I'm ready to fire her. I wish I could. I have 5 people who could fill her shoes with a work ethic 137 times better than the one she's developed.
Today, until the afternoon, was a nice fulfilling 4 hour work day... that turned into a 7 hour day with a lot of drama.
