HUGO NOMINATION!
So...the Hugo Award nominations were announced today, and Ursula Vernon's comic Digger has been nominated under the category of "Best Graphic Story"!

Woooo! The Hugos are one of the biggest awards in the world of science fiction and fantasy. We're terribly excited for Ursula and glad to see her get recognition for the years and years of work that she put into posting her comic every Tuesday and Thursday until the story reached its conclusion. The entire saga is a monument to dedication, humor, art and insight.
But Sofawolf gets to bask a little more than usual in the edge of her limelight because this award specifically mentions us as publishers. Digger's previous award wins were either for the Digger webcomic specifically, and her Eisner Award nomination was for Ursula herself, as "Talent Deserving Wider Recognition". The 2012 Hugo nomination is the first time that the print edition is specifically being given credit. I can't complain about that!
Shameless plug: we've discounted Digger 20% on our website to encourage folks to buy the books -- that's like getting 1 free if you buy the full 6 volume set!

...or, of course, you can still read the entire thing FOR FREE (without the print extras) online at:

And if you happen to be going to be a Worldcon member, please remember to vote by Chicon 7!
