My dog is very ill
My 7 year old beagle Zeek is very ill. Over the weekend he had to have surgery to get a foreign body from his stomach that was blocking the exit of his stomach. After 12 hours he was not recovering or eating, so they did another set of xrays and still saw something odd in his stomach, so they had to open him back up and do a second surgery. They searched every inch of intestine and stomach but found nothing foreign. Some of his tissue had died off from lack of blood flow from all the swelling. Now we took him to a specialist hospital in Largo, because the ER vet closes on weekdays. He has low blood pressure and bad clotting time. They are worried that the lack of blood flow to his intestine and pancreas area will cause some of the tissue to die. He might need a plasma transfusion. He might not survive if he needs new organs.
Already my family has exhausted our funds. We've spent $1700 plus $500-800 at the ER vet. Now another $2000 deposit for his stay at this other specialist. Might go up higher depending on his situation. We literally don't have enough money to pay our mortgage on time, so that's another stress my family has.
All I want is for my baby boy to get better. He is a rock that has held me together through my grandparent's deaths. We are having my grandpa's memorial service on sunday.
Here is a picture of him from a few weeks ago.
EDIT: He's doing much better now. He's at home now after spending the week in the hospital. He's got a cocktail of medications and we're keeping an eye on him.

Poor guy. I can tell your family really cares about him. I hope he gets better soon.
