Furry Taxonomy

"Inside these walls resides the truth. Within this edifice lies destiny. In these confines stirs enlightenment. Beyond said barriers rests freedom. Yet we are trapped. Forever encumbered by the limits of the grand structure called the mind." ~Carlos Ovidio Valdez
I said in a previous journal that the fandom needs a concrete classification system so we don't have random nonsensical names like "scalie" and "furry". So, while working on a taxonomy chart for my stories' universe, I came up with this.
Sentient
Anthromorph:
Humanoid – Defined by clear human anatomy. They possess plantigrade feet, human style hands, and human genitalia. Some have more human facial features and smaller muzzles/beaks.
Animalistic – Relatively humanoid, though they express more animal characteristics like digitigrade feet, more paw-like hands, and animal genitalia. Some retain more animal facial traits such as slit pupils and longer muzzles/beaks.
Zoomorph: Composed of individuals with no physical human characteristics, they are morphologically identical to their insentient counterparts. Many may wear custom clothing or accessories in order for others to distinguish them from their wild cousins.
Monster: Differentiated by their sometimes bizarre body plans and behavior, monsters encompass a large variety of species, hybrids, and sentient beings. Identified by strange anatomy, large bodies, or instinctual thought process.
Toon: Having the appearance of traditional cartoon characters, toons are more unorthodox anthropomorphic animals. They are commonly defined by the strange physical laws their bodies uniquely possess and their overall kind and loving nature.
Synthetic: A large group formed of many non-organic beings. Ranging from mechanical creatures, rubber skinned individuals, and anthropomorphic inanimate objects, synthetics are perhaps the most eccentric group of sentients. Often classified by their inorganic qualities.
Entity: Commonly referred to as gods or forces, entities are a type of mystical or otherworldly consciousness which takes the form or possesses the body of another physical being. They're typically identified by their powerful presence, regal appearance, and palpable power.
Insentient
Animal: Known simply as their categorical namesake, insentient organisms are the most primitive form of life. They are guided by instinct and base levels of intelligence. Most are used as food sources for sentients.
Monster: Like their sentient counterparts, they're uncommon and rare species. Many stray far from their path, as some monsters tend to perceive others as hostile and attack when provoked.
Toon: Strange cartoon creatures often driven by the desire for mischief or fun. They possess some intelligence, though their thoughts are mostly simplistic. Their bodies seem to be able to bypass regular laws of physics.
Synthetic: ...Can't really think of anything for this one. XD Help me out?
Keep in mind that this was mostly for my stories, but it does apply to the fandom, I believe.

FA+

I've just grown weary of all the random words the anthro community makes up for no reason whatsoever. Just thought having things classified like this would make it easier.
On me, anyway. |P
