Tarantulas: 48 ((Will go up to 50 come July after we go to repticon))
Scorpions: 47

Do you have a favorite 'kind' of rat?

Personally, I've got a soft spot for hairless (got 3 'naked' ladies myself), and rexes... maybe just a weakness for curly whiskers :3

Oooohhh there are SOOOO many. It's hard to narrow it down. If I had to pick...I'd have to say top eared, standard coat, agouti berkshires. Maybe because they look like 'wild' rats. Also my very first rat was one of these. I LOVE HAIRLESS, in any color, ear shape, I don't care. Love love. Miss having one around fully plan to fix this problem come fall.

Come July...not fall...doh! Im not waiting that long!

where to start.....Where you always into spider, rats, etc? Would you ever own a whip scorpion/camel spider? How long have you been keeping this guys? and ahve you ever consider becomming a breeder?

1. ALWAYS have been into rats. My granny lived on a farm and I would always save rats and mice from the cats. Spiders and scorpions used to creep me out when I was younger, but I've always been a tomboy and always played with bugs. Got more into Tarantulas after my ex got his first one and he was a lazy a-hole so I ended up taking care of her. Got very attached, was VERY upset when he gave her away and she died with the new owner. Ever since then I got more and more. Got into scorpions after holding my first emp. Now if Im afraid of any pet bugs I try my best to get ahold of one to get over my fear.

2. Want a whip scorpion. Would scoop one up in a heartbeat. Camel spider...not so much.

3. I've had our oldest rosehair for about...3-4 years. Had everyone else for about 1/2 - 2 years now.

4. We are working on breeding our tarantulas and scorps. Need more experience with it. I do breed rats from time to time.

Believe it or not. I have ONLY ever been stung once by a baby scorpion. My whole arm went numb for a day and had that weird 'pins and needles' feeling if you touched it. Like if your foot falls asleep. Wasnt so much painful as it was annoying.

I do have scars from rat and bird bites however.
