Mid-Hiatus Update

Hello folks, people, and friends!
*Stetches* Sooooo... been a little bit since I've touched this site... and even longer since I've made a journal. So much so that it took me five minutes to remember which link takes you to the "Make Journal" page. :P So while I go over all the new comments and watches that have piled up during my absence, just through I'd check in here and let y'all how everything's going on Bioxz's end.
And it's going... well, mostly good. Job-searching efforts have mostly been focused on the public service sector, i.e. government jobs... local, provincial, or federal. I spoke with a recruiter a couple of weeks ago, and it looks promising. :3
Ideally, I'd still want to make use of my diploma, but after a good couple of years of trying to do something with my graphic design degree and not seeing much beyond the occasional freelance work here and there, I'm going to be practical for the moment. Also considered going back to school to upskill in something else, but with the current situation in Québec (tuition hikes, ensuing student strike and university shutdowns) seems like something to put on the back burner.
Not unless I want one of the seven fucking plagues to come down on my ass. :S
On some more positive notes, confirmed my presence at AC this year. :3 Also, trying to once again get into an exercise routine. Depending on the financial overview, this could mean signing up for MMA courses again. Job would definitely help with that, so there's some extra motivation right there. :P
Anyhow, gonna start hitting the drawing pad again in another week or two. Regardless of how all else goes, my drawing finger is getting itchy, and I've already had sparks of creativity hit me that have me more than eager to put them to paper. (Hint... said sparks involved dick.) :P

I do hope you get to use that degree someday though--you're good enough at art you shouldn't do only porn (not that that is at ALL a bad thing!). And speaking of that art, yes, looking forward to more of that from you too. ^_^
