I signed with a new (and far more prestigious) temp agency last week. By Friday, they had found me a job. For two months I'll be doing photo editing with photoshop for a company about 35 minutes away.
It's a relief to have some income again. I've gained weight since November, having next-to-nothing to get me moving. I hope I drop back to where I was now that I'm expending calories five days a week.
So far the job's been extremely tedious and repetitive, but I could have worse complaints about a job. :K)
I've decided that I won't be attending any cons this year. It would be irresponsible of me, when I have a student loan to pay off and expenses to clear away. Even if I got a full-time job immediately after this current gig ends, it just wouldn't be a good idea this year.

On the no-cons thing, good choice- my last con, which should have cost me gas and fuel, ended up costing me an alternator and battery on my 12-year-old car. Last thing I'm gonna fix on old Scylla- time to trade in once I have the budget. Le Sigh.
