Personal choice, as the administrators of this site have shown over and over they can't be trusted to be decent people.

Oh? I know nothing of this. Would you mind going into detail about what you feel the problems facing this site are?

Just for a very recent example, this user https://www.furaffinity.net/user/zaush is a known, admitted pedophile and FA has taken no action to delete their account. When users brought sexual assault charges against him, those user's posts were deleted. They call it a 'no callout policy.' If you stay within the bubble of FA you may have no idea how awful some of the people you +watch really are.

Even as far as site functionality goes, poor leadership is responsible for FA's lag in features. It isn't hard to find accounts from even former admins about the problems behind the scenes.

FA is the biggest so FA keeps getting used, but that's not a good enough reason in light of the behavior of those in charge. We as a community can do better.
