Thought on relevence of sex to the narrative

One of the topics that often comes up with adult writing is making the sex relevant to the plot. By doing that, it often means having the sex mean something.
If you are looking for ways to do this, check out the movie After Sex - it's a movie of 7 vignettes about the conversations the characters have after having sex.
(As added incentive for folks out there, one of the vignettes involves Mila Kunis and Zoe Saldana discussing eating pussy)

Yeah, pillow talk is an interesting way of anchoring the sex to the story.

I've read (and written) stories where the sex is a central element of the plot, not just a progression of events growing out of other elements of the story. That is to say, the sex is a major element of the story in a way that it could not just be reworked to eliminate or gloss over it. And yes, I'm talking about stories with plot and character development, not fap stories. There aren't enough stories like this, in my opinion, but they do exist, and when well written are truly a pleasure to read on many levels.
