Happy b-day hun! Frankly the best b-days I've had have been with people who I enjoy spending time with. I've had some where we've sat up all hours of the night, drinking, and playing shitty board games. I've had some quiet ones with the special lady in my life, a homecooked meal, and a made from scratch red velvet cake *Droooools*. And I've had some just going out and chilling with friends. Frankly, its about enjoying what you have that makes b-days rocking.

Now that's what I'm talking about!

And if alcohol is involved, I have one general rule of thumb. Its not a good night unless you have one memorable story that has you rolling on the floor every time you think about it.

What about when you know it was a good night from the stories but can't remember any of it?

THats a good night too, but it depends on who is telling the stories and how drunk they were. Always carry a sober person with you, not just for safe driving and such... but as a true chronicler or the night.

And if you'd share said stories, I could rate your night for you. *Big grin*

I gotta start readin journals more. I gotta do a birthday gift for you! Sadly it'll be late.
