I was okay with it until Rinoa and Kairi showed up. As far as I know Rinoa never got to even touch a Gunblade in 8, but then again, that was the FF I gave up on 20 minutes in. Kairi's also stealing Roxas' bag, with the deulweilding Oblivion and Oathkeeper like that. She might have her own keyblade now, but she's not that good of a fighter yet. ((Also the moment when she shows up in the ending animatic is a blatant "Hey guys, stop being gay, I have tits! Remember tits?" moment))

But seeing as I'm a FF nerd, I could tell what each spell Tifa cast was, and that made me happy. Also Choreography that includes the opening of a bottle to take a drink, is always awesome.

Just to note. I was rooting for team Fantasy, since I have no Idea who anyone else was.

Ummmm btw NO :< Final Fantasy 8 is awesome, perhaps better than 7 and you can't give a final fantasy game a decent chance with anything less than five hours. Even FF7 starts off boring.

And Kairi was cool in it, and with all the different times and alternate things going on in the square universe who's to say she can't kick ass.
