so this happens a lot huh?

when people just randomly watch you and then you go check out their page and you see that they are basically watching ALL OF FA. and all you see on their shout page is "thx 4 the watch!"
its almost an insult rather than a compliment.
i watch people because i really admire their art or some how we've really connected and we're friends. and i like to think most people have watched me because they found something in my drawing that they can enjoy that i was able to share with them.
BUT ANYWAY. i finally FINALLY have a new battery for my phone and DAMN did i have a lot of text messages and voice mails to go through. i don't think i even got half of them though because my inbox was too full. im going to hopefully get a new phone anyway this summer.
IN OTHER NEWS. working on the very first round of the mons-ters exchange on the livejournal community!

the people im talking about are those accounts where there is either no art or very little art or its just one of those "for the hell of it troll" accounts or "lets see how many page views i can get because i really dont care about the artist or their work" accounts. and im not saying i dont watch people who's art is not that good mechanically or anatomically or the style isnt developed yet. i agree there that it is fun to watch artists grow (as well as watching yourself grow too, i mean hell, look at my old DA account :P )
oh and for me personally i dont mind going through all the artwork either. XD i really enjoying going and looking at each piece in turn, even if i dont have time to comment. but thats why i watch in the first place. to see what the people i like have drawn!

i agree with being able to just sit back and have the art brought to you. just being able to go to your watched submissions folder and see whats new is a nice way to spend some break time. im always curious what other artists are up too and i often get inspiration from them. which is another reason why i watch people because they so often inspire me.
