Maybe something humorous? You ever tried that? Of course it depends what you like in jokes and pranks. Other things I could recommend is something sci-fi or a action/adventure type of thing.

Humor is hard, but I might have a go at a more lighthearted piece. But remember, I'm also looking for something a little more detailed than "action/adventure"; the examples above were general starting points, not the types of suggestions I was looking for. What I meant by "ideas" is like the one line synopsises of movies; something that gives the general idea of the story within without having any real details.

Maybe you're ovethinking this. When it comes to me, ideas just come to me. Most likely ideas from others might not be your ground. I can't simply throw something out either in a instant.

Oh, it's not that I don't have any ideas. I have several that I'd like to write, many of which stemming from the general promts given in the journal. I just thought it might be fun for my watchers to have a say in what I write. After all, a change of pace can do wonders for creativity, and it's amazing what can spark that creative drive. Many of my ideas have been around for so long they're "too familiar" in a sense, and there's little sense of urgency to write them because I know the idea won't go away. Something out of left field from an outside suggestion has a "newness" that my a person of my thinking and personality can spark new thoughts, and such thoughts can reinvigorate old and familiar ideas. Or maybe there's a scenario they'd like to read, but don't feel comfortable writing it themselves and having found such a story before.

Also, I'm not asking for anyone to come up with anything in an instant. Some people may have been hoping I write continuations for a while, and now's there chance to perhaps reinvigorate an old work into something new from me. If you don't have something in mind, if you're up for a little brainstorming, maybe let it stew and consider what might sound good to you for my writing style. I mean, I'm starting to accumulate watchers, and I'd like to show my appreciation by letting them have a say in what I write, for the enjoyment of all.

Therein lies the problem; at present I have no motivation to do any of the pieces on my "to do" list. Even thoguh I intellectually want to do them, the creativity is not entirely there, causing me to rehash the basic premise and not actually write anything "new". That's why I threw this out there, to be interactive with my watchers and maybe have someone here help stoke the flames once more. Maybe in a day or two my brain will latch onto a random idea and run with it, but I want to be more involved in the fandom, and I thought interacting with my watchers on a somewhat more direct level might be a good start.

Shh! Do you want Damian to hear you? Give the new guy some time to get into things. He's still picking up the pieces the last must left behind. He's been good to me since coming in, but the fourteen twelve hour shifts over the last month have been as hard on him as they have been on me, and even he needs a recharge now and then.

XD My intent wasn't to replace just to give him a well needed break. ^^

Damian: Yeah, I heard him RS. I gotta say, a break does sound like a good idea...though it doesn't help when other parts of your subconscious deny the request. And you think where you work is crazy. Anyway...the door's open if Fe wants to drop by for a while. I could use the sane company...

Damian: Thanks for sending Fe over for a visit. We had a great time. I think I've got a pretty good idea of what to write now, as I'm feeling this piece like I haven't been feeling the others. Too bad it's midnight, or I'd be getting RS started on it now, but I've got two days without working overtime to work with him.
