They howl.
Is it to let put the pain?
Is it to drown out reality?
Maybe they're letting others know of their sorrow.
Perhaps IRS just genetic predisposition.
It could be something we never will comprehend.
Most likely it's all of the above.
More importantly: maybe we should howl with them.

My front porch it on the second floor. The only entrance is through my house. So I rarely need to howl for that cause.
