It's hard for me to really come to grips with right now, but my mom passed away this morning; believed to be of natural causes. Despite her illness, and the stresses that came with it, I always knew she was a good person at heart. I'm glad I got to talk to her one last time last night, and let her know that I loved her.

In many ways, I'm actually somewhat relieved, because I knew she was in pain from her Parkinson's, and could see her memory slipping. The last thing she would've wanted was to linger, so for that, I'm thankful her passing was so sudden. May you Rest In Peace, Mom, and may your next life be more kind.
