Certainly~! Mine went really well; I happened to find a good urologist in town that takes Oregon Health Plan - Dr. Sara Spettel. Once I had my consult with her, I was scheduled for my orchiectomy with her a week and a half later.

I know that the procedure can be done in-office with local anesthetic, but I opted for general, because I'm squeamish. Procedure took 45 minutes, though it took me a couple hours to wake up from the anesthesia, and said anesthesia made it so I couldn't urinate and had to have a catheter put in. ._. It's not a... painful experience with the right person putting it in, but I don't think I'll be partaking in any sounding. >_>;

It's been about two weeks now since then, though, and I'm mostly healed up. My inguinal canals are still a little sore, but it's quickly getting better.

I should also note that I had a simple bilateral orchiectomy; single incision in the scrotum, rather than a radical, which involves removal of the spermatic cords through the inguinals; I wanted to keep them in take for the purposes of still being able to enjoy muffing. :3 And, yeah. YMMV, but my libido started coming back the very next day once the antiandrogens were out of my system, which I'm pretty dang happy about. c;

Yeah I was the thinking of getting a bilateral because it just follows across the scar line on the scrotum. I'm form Canada and I found a surgeon in Toronto that does it for a decent price >3> and I'm honestly hoping to go for. Though apparently I might be going for a consultation eventually for SRS ;v; so I'm a bit iffy about going for an orchie.

Honestly I really want my libido back .-. I hardly have a libido at all, and I feel bad for my boyfriend ;~;

AS WELL on a side note, I never tried muffing before >3> looks like something I would do but I haven't done it before so, not sure what I'm doing x'D

Regardless, I hope whatever path you take finds you happiness; my orchie was done of pragmaticism rather than any dysphoria, but... My transition kind of feels like I fell backwards into everything to begin with, anyhow! X3; Certainly can't wait 'till I can do my boyf, though~ We started dating right before I started HRT. |3;

Oh gosh! What I meant was, I went into it with no real idea what I wanted to do; took me months to realize I wanted to change my name, much less to realize that I want an orchi. I mean, I would've been fine without it were I not so strongly affected by spiro in a negative way.

Heck, I originally wanted to go on Raloxifene instead of Estradiol, because I initially didn't want breasts. :B
