Review: Smiley and the Hero

General
Often, an author's first book has this problem of Firstbookitis, where clear problems are shown in the prose or the plotting, or something.
Not so with Smiely and the Hero. The pacing, the characters, and the ending hit every point they should with a solid foundation. There's actual suspense and tension, which I find lacking in a lot of fandom writing. I was satisfied and look forward to the author's next book.
Check out Smiley and the Hero. Four stars from this mole.

The interior art is better, but the book could've used more.
