I've been thinking a lot about my art and fursuits lately and I'm a little concerned that I don't have as much to offer as I used to. My art is much better of course lol but the problem of me looking at it all day is that all that stuff gets a little muddled up and washed out in my brain. When I can't really put a definition to what I do other than 'semi kinda mostly realistic. unless it's more toony.' it is hard to keep track of what I am and know that I have a distinct style as much as I used to when the sea was much much smaller.
So! I am at a point right now where I want to spend some time thinking about the direction of my art and business - to that end, I need your opinions! Sure I can ignore everyone and just create for myself, but I believe I get more fulfillment making things that I know other people will like as well.
So basically, that is a long way of asking "Why do you watch me?"
1) What do you like about my art? What makes my fursuits stand out? What caught your attention and what do you enjoy seeing?
2) Do you want to see more full body costumes from me or more smaller things like the ears and tails? Balancing the two is tricky so I'm curious if you think it's good now or if I do not have enough of one or another. What do you want me to open commissions for?
3) Where would you like to see me go in the future with my costumes?
4) Give me three words that relate to any of the above. Just any three words that sort of sum up your thoughts about my art or what you want to see.
You do not have to answer these questions directly - it's just a guide. if you have something different or simpler to say, that's good too ^^
--
Though I AM assuming you do like my fursuits in some kind of fashion if you are here, Please do not take this as looking for ass-pats. If you want to say "everything is perfect as is don't change it." then that's a valid opinion! But if you have stronger feelings about one aspect or another, I'm really very interested in your opinion :)

2) I just want to see more from you. I would actually love to see more of smaller things at a time. :) instead of one submission of a large suit at a time Xb
3) Stay where you are your stuff is perfect the way it is! unless you want to try new things. then please do! :D I'd love to see more resin bases since that's what I personally do the most XD
4) MOAR, Perfect, Parts? lol. moar things, your stuff is always perfect, and smaller bits and pieces!
A question for you... about how long have you been doing this??? :)
But the reason I like your suits other many other realistic makers is that the eyes seem to have life to them. Maybe because they're a little bit bigger than more "realistic" eyes, or maybe its just something you do IDK but they seem very lively.
I do like your ear and tail sets a lot! They're extremely pretty. Not something I'd buy maybe, but I like looking at them.
Anyways, you have nice stuff, the end :V
I absolutely love your style. The way you pad is just awesome, and you know were to put the right fur, like were to put shorter and longer furs. Your fursuits really stand out because of quality. What caught my attention was, if I remember correctly, your personal suit was the first suit of yours I saw and I was amazed at how good it looked. I enjoy seeing anything from you really, not to ass-pat you.
2) Do you want to see more full body costumes from me or more smaller things like the ears and tails? Balancing the two is tricky so I'm curious if you think it's good now or if I do not have enough of one or another. What do you want me to open commissions for?
Of course I would love to see more full bodies, but have to keep in mind the limits of time. I think you could post more smaller things like your ears and tails, I like seeing them too.
3) Where would you like to see me go in the future with my costumes?
I would love to see you do more species, just shows how flexible you are if you can make many species, mammals and non-mammals alike. I don't have specifics, though I would love to see another horse from you.
4) Give me three words that relate to any of the above. Just any three words that sort of sum up your thoughts about my art or what you want to see.
I. Want. More.
Hope this helps. ^^
2) Personally Id like to see more full suit work.
3) I'd like to see your costumes pressed a bit further in how you experiment with various colors and designs. What I mean is that most of your suits that I feel are very successful are usually very natural colors, I dont see funky colors on your work to often, but that can be a good thing too given your style. However I think your style is fine right now, but stepping out of a comfort zone is never easy.
4) Experimentation, more direction, a bit more color.
2) I perfer the fullsuits actually. I really want to commision a water buffalo from you- Would you be up to that? (:
3) Anywhere that will take you above and beyond!
4) More,amazing, eye catching
~ Hope we can work togather in the future and talk about that water buffalo! (:
:D
2) I always like seeing the full suits as opposed to the tails and ears, I always like watching how your next project will turn out. But if i was a commissioner, then tails and ears would be nice if i didnt have money for a full suit.
3) Im not sure how to answer this, its always good to see different species, and it was interesting to see you experiment further when you added toony eyes to your beetle suit.
4)unique, proffessional, intriguing
2) Both, it is great to see full body, but also to watch an artist who takes time from large commissions and such to put the detail into smaller pieces.
3) More varied sort of creatures to get in practice with different types of expressions
4)Beautiful, talented, caring.
You are amazing in many ways, I watch you for the detail and obvious care you put into your suits. And honestly, your suits were one of the first fursuit makers I ran into a site for. Keep up the amazing work, and I look forward to what you work on next. ^.^
I like your airbrushing. It can stand out for sure.
2.
Do what pays the bills, and makes you happy. i think that is the real balance you are looking for.
3.
Break a habit that you see in your costumes. sometimes the best ideas come from odd places. Make a toony puppet, or just something we are not used to seeing. It may give you insight on something in your normal work you have not considered.
4.
Listen to the answers you get with this. But be careful not too listen to carefully. Being a stubborn ass can make you look mean., or whatever negative whatever.
I guess the saying is, if you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything. So, keep on trucking, and don't worry about validation too much. I think you have the right idea.
I think what you post now, as far as going between small things and larger projects, is pretty well-balanced. A flood of fullsuits might dull the effect, having the smaller stuff inbetween larger projects works well.
As for the future - well, what you're doing now is more than astounding. I guess stuff like the panduck once in a while is good - something really above and beyond what others have done, but holy heck that has to be a lot of work, too.
Three words: passionate, creative, and unique
2) WINGS. And heads. They're my faves from you :3
3) Moar wingz? Maybe articulated even.
4) Huggable fluffeh awesome
I had chocolate and it kicked in on #4...
2. I have two pairs of your ears and I love them!! They were perfect for my budget. I would LOVE a fursuit from you, but being able to have at least a small part of your art is enough for now. :3
3. I see you branch out often, I think you are heading in the right direction. At cons, I mention your name and everyone's ears perk up-your work goes far!
4. Beautiful. Unique. Quality.
2. Full body, I really want the chance to get a fursuit from you in the future
3. I would like to see more species as well. You've already done a variety but I'd love to see even more!
4. awesome, unique, talented
2) I want to see more of your more 'full' costumes, but the balance at current between the smaller stuff and bigger stuff is perfect at the moment. It takes quite a lot of concentration, time, and determination for both... and it shows in your work. Also, pffft. Either way you go with commishies, your slots would fill up quickly, whether it be your more cartoon-y suits or your fantastic fantasy realism.
3) Wherever you damn well please, as long as you're happy with your work.
4) What they said.
It's unique! and from what I have seen over time in the fandom you were the first to work in the style you created and master it.
What makes my fursuits stand out?
They have more life and character than other "realistic" suits. They verge more on an awesomely designed 3d model of an anthropomorphic creature than taxidermy or something like that. They look like they could talk and tell a story and have a whole range of emotion more like a human than an animal. Sure there are other people that seem to do similar styles now, but you still seem to get more emotion into yours than I have seen in others, not sure what it is! I can always tell when something is a Beetlecat suit. Also seamless looking moving jaws that still have facial expression, they don't look robotic or puppety.
What caught your attention and what do you enjoy seeing?
All the stuff I mentioned above pretty much! Also you are always up for trying new things and challenging yourself. The time and effort you put into every piece of a costume makes it stand out. Not only does the head look good, but you give as much attention as you can to the feet, the tails, the hands, and even the bodysuits! So, quality!
2) Do you want to see more full body costumes from me or more smaller things like the ears and tails? Balancing the two is tricky so I'm curious if you think it's good now or if I do not have enough of one or another. What do you want me to open commissions for?
FULL COSTUMES! I personally don't look good with my silly tiny head sticking out with ears.. and I prefer full costumes. Your other stuff is really nicely made but I'd still just prefer looking at full costumes.
3) Where would you like to see me go in the future with my costumes?
Just keep doing what you do, trying new things, experimenting, coming up with new ways of doing things, creating monsters and cute things alike! Keep messing with expressive emotions and stuff! I wanna see some crazy expressions haha.
4) Give me three words that relate to any of the above. Just any three words that sort of sum up your thoughts about my art or what you want to see.
Expressive.
Quality.
Original.
2) I'd love to see more full suits, yes...but if ears and tails pay the bills, so be it. You do make them very nicely, it's just that sort of thing has always seemed a fashion accessory for "raver kids" and the like and would just be ridiculous and extra creepy on an old guy like me! On the plus side, these smaller parts let more people afford a bit of that Beetlecat Magic™.
3) DRAGONS! No...um...with each suit you seem to strike a good balance between trying new things and applying what you've already learned. Keep up whatever ratio maintains your interest and makes you happy. Personally, I do like seeing it when people push the boundaries of what's "furry" and try something more stylized, darker or just funky and different, even if it doesn't always work out. But that's just me.
4) Workmanship. Happiness. Rarsuits.
Hmmmm. I would have to say that, of most things, you walk the line of realism but still "cuddly" fursuits. That is to say, they don't look like OH GOD SCARY MOVIE PROP suits. They're charming but not toony. You are one of the FEW excellent and not-toony fursuiters out there, so that makes my fondness of you even greater. That being said, I do feel like I could see more of these. I feel like your strength is in showing character through detail, and lately I feel like your suits are more focused on how pretty you can make 'em. That's not BAD, of course: pretty suits = money making suits. But I feel like there's just a lot more character in some of your pieces from a year or so ago (like Bolt and Nipper/Digger) than in the newer stuff (like the snowleopard and the panduck).
I think you should absoLUTELY make more suits, both full and partial. With the reputation you have you are sure as sin to fill up your commission queue the second you open it, and doing so would broaden your audience even more.
tl:dr; moar characters w/character plz
Honestly, I think they're amazing- so much so that I would love to buy one from you one day, and I always said I'd never get one. I love how well-constructed your suits are, and how you're able to balance your technical knowledge with creativity. It also helps that your suits don't look like wall-eyed taxidermy husks- they have a LOT of personality. :>
2) Do you want to see more full body costumes from me or more smaller things like the ears and tails? Balancing the two is tricky so I'm curious if you think it's good now or if I do not have enough of one or another. What do you want me to open commissions for?
Well, I did watch you for the suits, so I'm biased there. I'd be happy to see masks of any kind, or any sort of interesting projects (like the wings you made recently).
3) Where would you like to see me go in the future with my costumes?
I would LOVE to see you tackle some more exotic species! The duck/red panda griffon was very interesting, and I'd like to see how you handle headshapes outside of canines and cats. I know you've done griffons and horses (I think), but maybe something with a less pronounced snout would be an interesting challenge? Rabbits, raccoons, anything like that.
4) Give me three words that relate to any of the above. Just any three words that sort of sum up your thoughts about my art or what you want to see.
Personality, Exoticism and Quality. :D
2) Full body, with more creative padding or shaping.
3) Just keep keepin' on, I guess.
4) Experimentation, Shape, Materials.
They always look so natural. Nothing looks out of place, be it the padding, the fur, the colours, etc. Everything always works together in your suits.
They look like they are built to last! The quality of your suits is outstanding.
And they look so cuddly and huggable, hehe C:
2) I love your full suits! I would always want to see more and more of them!
With the smaller parts ... perhaps I haven't being paying too much attention to them, but I feel as if there is not that much variety. I'd love to see some more 'fantasy' parts.
3) Well, I'm not sure what I'd like to see in the future! Keep making more! Keep experimenting! :D
4) Beautiful. Quality. Character!
2) I'd prefer full body costumes to ears and tails, but - if possible - I'd like to see those partials (or just heads or whatever) that you put together using whatever scraps you have laying around. It's like a stretch in creativity and imagination and I always adore the outcome. To date, The Beast costume is my favorite anything that you've ever made.
3) More... fantasy-type things. Like the unicorn or panduck (well, there's only one panduck to my knowledge, but a griffiny thing at least!) Stuff like I said above, something that really stretches your imagination.
4) Quality. Striking. Memorable.
I look forward to your full body suits most of all!
When I decided after 10 years in this fandom that it was finally time to start looking around for a suitmaker who would fit my pickiness, your work stood out along with only a couple others. I've seen more and more impressive things since I started watching you. I love the realism, just real enough to stand apart from the rampant tooniness that prevails in most suits, but not so realistic as to extend into the realm of creepy.
2)
I'd love to see more full costumes or partials. It's the heads that really strike me, but full suits like the snow leopard are what has me constantly watching your journals for talk of opening your queue.
3)
Honestly? Be happy with your work, wherever it takes you. Experiment, have fun, and never stop striving to improve and challenge yourself. Same thing I would tell any artist.
4)
I want one XD
But in more seriousness: Impressive, striking, attention-gripping
--I think you have one of the more unique styles, and while "unique" isn't always good, in this case it is. You have a very nice balance between realistic and cartoony, it fits in very well with how people tend to draw furries, it's like a proper 3D costume of a furry. Many suits look so realistic that it's like a costume of a photo-manipulation, or so toony that they don't really fit in with the art- I like well designed toony suits, but they represent pre-existing characters very poorly. So, what i like about your suits, your style, is that they look like a "furry".
Your faces are also beautiful, especially recently you've really been improving the past year and a half.
2) Do you want to see more full body costumes from me or more smaller things like the ears and tails? Balancing the two is tricky so I'm curious if you think it's good now or if I do not have enough of one or another. What do you want me to open commissions for?
--I mostly like seeing your heads. Your heads are beautiful, but your bodies don't quite match. The sewing/patterning isn't quite as clean. I've noticed in general, that people can either "art" or sew. The people who sew the best bodies... have kind of ugly heads, the people who create the best heads don't have prefect bodies. I know, personally, I don't have the patience to sew large things, I've always paid someone else to sew things for me.
3) Where would you like to see me go in the future with my costumes?
``Keep improving, keep trying new things. As I mentioned, you've really been on a good track lately.
4) Give me three words that relate to any of the above. Just any three words that sort of sum up your thoughts about my art or what you want to see.
--I'm not poetic.
So yeah, great heads/hands/paws/tails, great style. I love that it's detailed without being realistic/uncanny-valley. The only area I see any problem is the sewing of large things (like bodies), that's been getting noticeably better as well.
You're definitely in my top-5, probably my top-3 for fursuit artists.
I do like the using different types of fur, though, big shaggy rugs look kind of silly. Looking back at some photos, it seems to be the super-short fur is the biggest culprit, but that short fur in the non-fluffy areas also makes a huge positive difference in the shape of the suit. I wish I knew enough about sewing to offer any advice there.
The seams I do understand since its a reflection of how I piece different furs together. I try to put them in decent looking places but the only way to remove them would be to use all the same fur. And I just don't like that as a style for myself XD
Fairly obvious seams in all the shorter furs, especially Beetle's side and the wolf's inner leg. The leopards seams of somewhat hidden by the busy markings. Beetle's knee area is sitting weird, so is the leopard's shin- referring the the person underneath, not the costume's representative parts. With the knee area in Beetle, it seems like the joint is too high or too low, and the built-up parts on the front and back aren't balanced just right, giving them a slightly awkward angle.
http://i.imgur.com/bkwuk.jpg This would, in theory, make the leg sit and move a little better, making the pretend joints a little more obvious, and the angles less dramatic. I'd have to test that with like foam and cheap material, or something like that. But I think there's room for a slightly more dynamic leg by tweaking some of the built-up parts.
The leopard might be on a model that's too short, still? Or whatever supports the flared leg, if anything, isn't behaving.
Django does have an obvious seam I grant that. But I do not see the others unless you are talking about where different furs are sewn together. A stylistic choice I accept as a consequence of being more unique in my fur choices and variety ^^
The bump on the leopards leg is actually the 2nd leg behind it :D
2) Full body for sure. I plan on commissioning you for my "sona suit some time in the future. He has wings and all that jazz. So I want to see more wings from you.
3) Hmm not sure
4) Awesome looking Rarsuits
GOOD LUCK!!!! XD
I still like your work and I've enjoyed(and continue to) watch your growth as a maker!
1) What do you like about my art? What makes my fursuits stand out? What caught your attention and what do you enjoy seeing?
-I first was drawn to your art because I thought that it was realistic without looking lifeless like some realistic fursuit artists. I also like your more cartoony things! When/if I ever get enough, you're going to be the first person I go to to get a fursuit ^^
2) Do you want to see more full body costumes from me or more smaller things like the ears and tails? Balancing the two is tricky so I'm curious if you think it's good now or if I do not have enough of one or another. What do you want me to open commissions for?
Full suits. Honestly tails and ears and parts like that bore me :c Partials are cool though.
3) Where would you like to see me go in the future with my costumes?
I like where you've been and where you're going... so I'm not sure how to answer this!
4) Give me three words that relate to any of the above. Just any three words that sort of sum up your thoughts about my art or what you want to see.
Lovely digitigrade legs
your work is what I call characterized realistic, it has personality, your work is not like 100% real but because of that it looks "alive" which I prefer vs looking perfectly real but kind of lifeless
and you think YOU have an identity crisis with your style of work
HA
X_X
I gave up on that worry, my stuff varies too much from project to project... and I do everything from stinking cute toony to zombie realistic...
The Uncanny Valley. Or, as Alvy Ray Smith, one of the founders of Pixar, famously described their slightly surreal/idealized animation aesthetic: "Reality is a convenient measure of complexity, but why be restricted to reality?"
I gave up on that worry, my stuff varies too much from project to project... and I do everything from stinking cute toony to zombie realistic...
"Too much"? Never! I'll be perfectly frank: I don't like every suit you've made...but I totally respect your willingness (eagerness, even) to take chances and try new and different things. That might be your greatest asset. Most fursuit builders seem to lack the cojones to break the mold. YAY MOAR TOONY FOXES!!!!11!1
But anyway, sorry for hijacking the thread, this is supposed to be about Beetlecat.
2) I honestly think your full-body stuff is spectacular, but I know very little about the fursuit economy. I think if you want to take a break and work on smaller pieces to let the commoners afford a small piece of Beetlecat, then go ahead. I would be sad to see you drop the big projects completely, though!
3) The same way I kinda wish a lot of suiters would go: new critters! The market is flooded with foxes and wolves and kitties, and the panduck was a big 'ol breath of fresh air.
4) dat digitigrade pants.
I have pair of ears it would go perfect with, and it's SO HARD to find good tails, especially in snow leopard lol
1) You're fursuit is wonderful made, specially like your snow meows, and want one for myself
2) I love to see fullsuit, maybe some more in cool photos x3 Like what you did with the pandduck so it just standing up and down. But I also like to see small commissions :3
3) More rare suits perhaps, and that you continue to do your amazing development in fursuit making - it just get better and better!
4) Unique, quality, beautiful.
Quality
Imagination
Ingenuity
2) Despite how incredible I think all your work looks, whether a pair of ears or a full costume, I personally feel your work really shines in the full body costumes. It's interesting to see how you go about designing different details to suit different creatures. The panduck, for instance, is a pretty damn impressive blend. The colours are especially gorgeous in it.
3) Your real animals are just fantastic, but you have done some fantasy creatures in the past that I have yet to see the equal of that weren't designed by
4) Individualistic, detailed and craftsmanship.
Like others have mentioned, I love that you put so much time into each costume and see it as a "whole" (special attention paid to how leg padding/head/feet are all in proportion was well as how it moves and flows together). You also seem to put a lot of character into your realistic costumes, while some I see tend to get a "dead eye" look of sorts.
2) Do you want to see more full body costumes from me or more smaller things like the ears and tails? Balancing the two is tricky so I'm curious if you think it's good now or if I do not have enough of one or another. What do you want me to open commissions for?
As a viewer I enjoy seeing the full costumes more, but as a commissioner I think people would like to get their paws on some smaller parts. :)
3) Where would you like to see me go in the future with my costumes?
Whatever feels right. It's really difficult to ignore people's opinions on where you should head...but what style makes you the happiest? Costumes you have the most fun on will always turn out best. :)
4) Give me three words that relate to any of the above. Just any three words that sort of sum up your thoughts about my art or what you want to see.
expression, convincing, quality
1) What do you like about my art? What makes my fursuits stand out? What caught your attention and what do you enjoy seeing?
A:>>'art'<< you don't draw enough for a thorough judgement, thou I would say you are going the way of Heather"Kyhot"Luterman how you have something between cartoony and realistic.. re..realistic being slightly goofy. I enjoy your enginuity in resin mask making and incredibly tedious fur patterns.
2) Do you want to see more full body costumes from me or more smaller things like the ears and tails? Balancing the two is tricky so I'm curious if you think it's good now or if I do not have enough of one or another. What do you want me to open commissions for?
A: IMO partials are the wave of the future. Even if there is a fur-apocalypse and furfans all die down, a good partial will shine its virtuous(-ity?) At renaissance fairs and more than a full suit could.
3) Where would you like to see me go in the future with my costumes?
A: Try a cap-less(open top) head without ears and adapt the follow-me effect to safety eye glasses lenses. (IE: separate face, jaw, and ears makes extremely easy portability.)
4) Give me three words.
A: Innovative masquerade partial.
Thank you for your time!
I took interest in your work several years ago and found it good. I had started considering you as a potential artist to make my realistic skunk fursuit then, but held back for other reasons. As time went by, I could see a definite improvement in the quality and detail. You have truly gotten good at realistic fursuits. After meeting you in person at FC and seeing your work firsthand, I knew you were the one that I'd want to make my fursuit (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7773294/). Of course, that recommendation by Lance Ikegawa didn't hurt either. :)
I'll try my best to answer the other questions now.
My answers to Questions 2 and 3 are rather biased on my part because I'm one of your current commissions, waiting for a full-body skunk fursuit that is on the very realistic side.
For Question 4, the words that come to mind are realistic, beautiful, excellent craftsmanship, innovative, well thought out. These words are my impressions of what I've seen of your work and from our e-mails correspondences, and they are my hopes for this skunk fursuit you will be making for me.
1) What do you like about my art? What makes my fursuits stand out? What caught your attention and what do you enjoy seeing? For me it was your attentions to detail and the shapes that you produce. For every suit or earset there is a life inside them that one doesn't usually see in most of the suits produced today. I think that you literally work hard enough to put a soul into every piece and for me I find that enthralling.
2) Do you want to see more full body costumes from me or more smaller things like the ears and tails? Balancing the two is tricky so I'm curious if you think it's good now or if I do not have enough of one or another. What do you want me to open commissions for? I love your fullbody costumes simply because I feel that..... hmmm... how to describe it.....every fullbody costume that you do is like a painting that is rare and beautiful. It's hard not to lust after every-single-friggin-one but isnt' because they are so AMAZING and truly bring something that was only "on the page" to live in the real world. It's AMAZING to me. Admittedly I like your ears and tails but I would rather see one of your suits ANY day. To be perfectly honest I spend hours almost every day pouring over your costumes and learning. for me that is important because I strive to bring as much life into my own work- be it clothing or costumes.
3) Where would you like to see me go in the future with my costumes?
This question is a little on the difficult side because in some ways I think you are just perfect where you are..... but I also think that you could go farther. In the last few years you have made so many vast improvements to your costumes that they really look real.... but I also think that in a couple years they would look "more" real simply because you seem to always be learning and improving.
4) Give me three words that relate to any of the above. Just any three words that sort of sum up your thoughts about my art or what you want to see. Soul, Art, Inspirational
-The realism and uniqueness of each one. Your attention to detail is amazing, and -every- suit I've seen shows it. You adapt to different styles, and the results are stunning.
2) Do you want to see more full body costumes from me or more smaller things like the ears and tails? Balancing the two is tricky so I'm curious if you think it's good now or if I do not have enough of one or another. What do you want me to open commissions for?
-Definitely full body costumes, and if that's the case, I will be gunning for a spot for myself later this year. ;) Biased answer is biased! If you look at it through a marketing or branding prism, I think you would get more self-advertising and brand awareness out of full body than ears/tails.
3) Where would you like to see me go in the future with my costumes?
-I'd say do what consistently makes you money AND makes you feel happy, but venture out every once in awhile and try something completely different and see how that feels. You really seem to do a good job at that (the dolls), and at challenging yourself.

-Stunning, Quality, Personal
1) What do you like about my art? What makes my fursuits stand out? What caught your attention and what do you enjoy seeing?
Yours has always been my favorite 'style' - not completely toony, but also not full on realism which I sometimes find slightly unsettling.
2) Do you want to see more full body costumes from me or more smaller things like the ears and tails? Balancing the two is tricky so I'm curious if you think it's good now or if I do not have enough of one or another. What do you want me to open commissions for?
Given the two I'd say full costumes, though it's specifically your heads that I enjoy seeing the most.
3) Where would you like to see me go in the future with my costumes?
A production company should totally pick you up for special effects but I don't think that's what you're asking. I'd be interested to see you push more limits and do more experimenting - new materials, different styles, etc.

problem-solving, ingenuity, expressions
1) Your art is alright As i commissioned you a few years ago I can say that I found your fursuits to look pretty good for the price. Since then your prices have gone up. I liked the the fact that you had been commissioned to do various critters by the time I ordered. Just as you that little more credit in my mind.
2) I think this question is down to you. I think you should make what is commissioned from you but maybe you should only do a set amount so that is you do decide to do something else like tails or ears you have the time. Maybe time tails and ears for conventions?
3) Just do whatever you like and maybe take commissions that you feel challenge you and push you forward.
4) Qulity, Fun, Interesting
II) I like full suits, the whole package. Seems like this is where the artist really has contol over the final appearance of the piece. This way you also don't see a bad-ass beetle head at a con atop a not-very-matching body suit. You are one of the best out there, Beetle... Depending on how your business may take a hit for it, I could understand you switching to only offering full suits. This is your quality, this is your image.
Dog) Quadsuits, animatronics, stilted suits (maned wolf?), flamethrowers
Purple) Amazing, inspirational, LetsDance!
I like that even your toony suits are set apart from the toony suits of other makers. Perhaps it's the amount of air-brushing or stylizing of the heads. There's no 'cookie cutter Beetlecat suit' they all have a very unique style. For me, it started with the realistic version of your personal suit. I've loved everything that's happened after that.

Costumes and heads. Moreso than tails and accessories. I would like to see some attempts at dragons too, if that helps.
3) Where would you like to see me go in the future with my costumes?
Continue the track with your toony Beetlecat costume. Keeping a cartoony style (almost like your art in 3D) but using that airbrush for the shading and attention to detail. Giving your costumes the good looking tails, really impressive feet, etc. I like that you took on that commission of the panda/duck. It turned out VERY well.

Detailed, Limited, Versatile
I hope that helps.
I'd love to see you go where few have gone before. Seeing your version of some sort of fish or insect would be awesome. I've been secretly hoping one of the makers I admire would make a leafy sea dragon or a lion fish. I've been secretly hoping that at AC I'll see someone tall in a mantis suit. I've seen some cool spiders and a neat bee, but there's so many pretty insects out there!
Or, because I am afraid it'll take years to save up for, I'd like to see someone do an african cape porcupine. This is a fullsuit I've always wanted...but how I want it is going to cost about as much as two and a half suits together.
Um, I want to see...more tails. I have a bit of an ocd when it comes to tails. The worst problem with my collecting is, I can make my own too. I want more tails and more premade tails so one of these days I can own something you made, when I finally catch some tails for sale.
Oh! I have another idea, I want to see if you could make a syrian hamster partial/fullsuit ( they come in the widest array of coat colors) I'd just love to see someone make the cute little hammy tail and if one of the awesome makers I know could figure out how to do cheek pouches you can actually store something in, for the fun of being like a real hamster.
I don't think you need to work on anything really. I like your style and enjoy entertaining the idea I'll be able to set aside enough money to one day snap up a piece from you. You have always been in my top five makers I love to watch.
I like your unique art style with the mixture of realism and toony. The way to add both realism to your fursuits plus the cuteness and lifeness of adding a "toony" flare to your costumes as well. What caught my attention was the different types of fursuits and artwork that you do and I love seeing new features and seeing how much you improve each time you do it.

I'd like to see a mixture of more full body and more smaller things like tails and paws/feet. Really want to commission a set of fox set (ears, tail, paws, and feet) for my boyfriend and myself. :3
3) Where would you like to see me go in the future with my costumes?
I would like to see some range between realism and toony. Probably add a bit more options in your work as well as to learn new things. Sometimes I get bored of doing the same thing over and over. ^^;
