I come bearing fursuit commission info!

I have added a new tier to my patreon which is entry onto my fursuit waiting list. You will be the first to be notified when I have new commission openings and it the ONLY way to receive a guaranteed custom commission.

Why patreon? Because I like the communication opportunities on patreon and I think it'll be a good way for us to interact together and open good lines of discussion even before the project begins. Plus you can have a hand in seeing and directing the process. More input = good!

If you are interested in a fursuit from me but will/cannot pledge then that's okay! I will still be making various artist-designed suits and hosting auction opportunities in the future. These projects will be random and designed/decided by me but hopefully there will be something there you like ^_^

Curious, if we pledge for the fursuit waiting list, what happens if by the time you open for the commission we aren't in a financial position; do we still get put onto the waiting list for the next opening and how many rewards like this are on offer via Patreon.... assuming it's just one so once it's taken it's taken or are there several and does that mean you'll end up with a long waiting list?

That's a good question! Yes, as long as you are a patron, you will be given the next available opening. There is no limit on the tier so priority will be given to those who have the highest lifetime pledge level. So it is not 'wasted' to pledge at a lower level for a time if a commission is your end goal.

The more people who pledge, the more often I will open for new commissions (rather than making an auction or personal suit) so it should all even out

Ahh okay, no worries thank you for the prompt response that makes sense with the whole "highest lifetime pledge" if you're not setting an actual number limit to that particular pledge. ^^ would the commission include something like a quadsuit or just a regular digi/planti?

Anything! Even things I do not normally accept such as a digitigrade pants-only commission. (as long as the overall project is physically feasible)

Okay, last question; will this mean that you'll have a private or public waiting list for all the folks who pick the fursuit tier?

Assuming there's more than one and we're going off of who has been the highest lifetime pledge to snag the first available slot when it becomes available, I'm guessing the next time you open for a commission it'd go to the next highest pledge on the waitlist once the previous person has received their commission?

To my understanding, I could pledge say $5 but still get into the list for a suit, or do you mean you have to actually pledge for the suit tier to be considered?

Yes you would have to be pledging to the suit tier (anything else involves too much administration/risk of screwing up on my end). So the list would consist only of those people currently pledging to that tier. If someone pledged at a lower level for a while then decided to move to that one, their entire lifetime pledges would count towards seniority (but someone pledging at a higher tier for the same amount of time would obv have first picks over them)

I'm seriously considering pledging because I love your work and feel you could bring my character to life but I have two questions. One, could you do rainbow dreadlocks? Those are important to the design and I know hair like things can be difficult. Two, do you take payment plans? I'm on mobile and I'm sure could find the answer somewhere, but my phone is fussing around right now haha.

I would need to look up how to construct dreadlocks but I don't think that'll be an issue and adding them is a similar technique that I've done for manes/etc. As for payments it depends.. I wouldn't want them to extend too far into the future because I'd like to make the costume when I have the opening (rather than not have something to make) but if we work something out ahead of time where I'll make a personal suit or whatnot in that time then it could work out fine as long as we're both ready at the same time.

tl;dr: Yes. And yes but only with a lot of communication and contracted limits.

Thank you for the prompt response! The only reason I ask about payment plans is due to the nature of my job (server) money can be sporadic and require saving rather than unnecessary spending. At the mercy of the general public and all that. But you make good points and I would definitely be okay with you working in something else in the meantime. I'll definitely be strongly considering pledging once I see my next paycheck :)

I'm still a senior college student, so I can't afford to pledge or buy a suit yet. I probably couldn't get anything until next year when I have enough to buy a suit from you, but how much would a suit like this cost since there is a bit more going on so I know how much I should save up? (I know the tail are too long for a suit. I'd make an actual unshaded fursuit reference in the future, of course.)

Would you take a paws only commission?

The waiting list pledge, does it work as a downpayment/deposit for a commission?

Sure I'd do paws only. No the money pledged goes into maintaining/building the patreon content/rewards and does not contribute to the final item quote.
