Top Six, ah, Eight, ah, Nine Picks

Rules:

1. Surplus to Requirements - One of the darker and moodier pieces in my collection, but I quite like the overall feel of this piece. I think it was the first time Megan really started to feel like she was representing who I am on the same level that Niamh did. Plus, it's one of the few pictures that shows the butterfly-shaped marking on her muzzle in full detail.
2. In the Palm of Her Hand (NSFW) - A fairly naughty picture, especially with that hidden hand, but this is the one that established Megan's final, finished look. I still think the light cream color looks much better on her that bright white.
3. What Might Have Been - Besides the deeper, personal meaning this picture has for me, I really like how Megan looks in this picture. It's probably her most down-to-earth moment, and the one where she most looks like a regular person.
4. Lady's Red Ribbon (NSFW) - This was a surprise gift from a really sweet girl, who has since become a good friend and someone whom I really admire. She's drawn Megan a couple of times since then, and I love everything she's done for me.
5. Yours Forever - A Valentine's Day gift for my darling Eliki. I still think the title sums everything up just perfectly.
6. Exploring Distant Worlds - This one's pretty simple and plain compared to some of the art I've commissioned, but I love the feeling of peace, and of course I'm still just as devoted to books as I've always been.
7. Golden Vanity (NSFW) - Yeah, so we're only supposed to pick six. I've never been good at picking favorites, or following the rules, and I simply love this picture too much to leave it out, even if it is a bit on the naughty side.
8 - Safe in the Warmth of Your Love - Yet another extra, but it had to be included. It's one of the most special pictures in my collection, because Eliki sent it to me when he asked me to be his officially, and it's cute as it can be, too.
Bonus:
9. Secrets in the Water (NSFW) - This picture is four years old now, and it has been lost way back at the beginning of my gallery where few probably ever go. But it's still one of my favorites. It was one of the first pictures, if not the first, of Ciara and Niamh, and it's still one of the cutest ever. It's also notable for getting poor Ciara's height just about right.

*Cuddles* You know how much I've always loved your art. I could have easily listed a picture you drew for me for every single slot! But the one for eight, well that one really is very special to me and it just had to go on there. As for nine, I can't believe it has been that long, either, but I still think it's an incredible picture and one that captures their relationship, and that first kiss, just perfectly. There have been times I've been kind of tempted to revisit that little scene and have someone else do a commission around it, maybe with the two of them playing around on the banks or soaking in the water afterward. But I've always shied away because you did such a perfect job, who could match it?

Those are some very good picks! I know what you mean about having trouble keeping it down to six. It's so hard when you have so many fine pictures that you love so much! I could have picked another six and more easily.

Thanks! It was hard to sort out just which ones I wanted to list, but I've always really loved the ones I posted. Those are definitely some of the best pictures of Megan I have, too.
