I've got hair lil' longer than that, and I'm assuming, "no". Drains get blocked by long hair, have to clean 'em every once in a while.

As for the original question, I've probably already answered - As a guy with long hair, I love long hair on guys.

Having just poured a cup of lye down the drain, I can assure you that it's not a metaphor.

There is nothing wrong with long hair, as long as the guy takes the effort and takes gooood care of it. IF not, you start building up a home for rats (Which is an instant turn off)

For the lazy man on the go, I keep my hair at about slightly above sholder lenght. Easy to keep washed and clean.

As for instant turn off? Hell no. :D Lots of people are into a guy with long, wavvy hair. But then, it does mostly deal with personal style and facial structure.... Studies say the most attractive faces are the most symmetrical. *shrugs*

I always kept my hair short so it's easy to maintain and stuff. Never have to comb or hairspray or anything. Easy to wash. Never gets in the way of my face. Never have to wear a shower cap (I do occasionally wear a water cap if I need to do some freestyle laps). Once it starts getting a bit taller, I go to the barbershop.

Like my mate said, down onto the shoulders, but with a certain techy look to it... sorta like Otacon's hairdo from the MGS series. THAT'S hot <3

Um.. it'd hard to manage it in a masculine way, and if you want to keep your hair long, be prepared to have people address you as a female.

All a guy can really do it put his hair in a pony-tail. However, on a man, the pony tail should be worn low. A single, slow hung pony tail is about all you can ever do with it.

As to how I feel about long hair? I find long hair to be more acceptable than a mohawk or "kool-aid" dyed hair.

You need the right facial bone structure to pull off long hair correctly and in my opinion, you definitely have it. Not to mention you do have the perfect type of hair to keep long. But then again, I am REALLY attracted to guys with long hair, so I'm pretty biased.

Long hair can be very handsome on a man, as long as it's kept neat and tidy. I used to have long hair down to my shoulder blades. now it's just to the base of my neck. It has to be clean. And as Keno said, you may need the right face for it, or the right facial hair to match it.

I'm quire fond of long hair, myself. I occasionally debate cutting mine, as it is a bit of a pain to maintain, but at this point I think of myself as a 'long hair'. Cutting it would feel like trying to change who I am.

With regard to long hair on a guy and date-ability, I doubt that having long hair will make it harder to date, but you may attract a partially different set of suitors. If I were to hazard a guess from my own experience, long hair guys tend to be a bit more mellow. That said, I hang out with laid-back geeky quasi-hippie intelligencia, so my opinion is rather biased.

My one peev with long hair is: if you're going to cuddle with me, and you have long hair, tie it back. Making out with a Cousin It impersonator is no fun.

Incidentally, if you ever get sick of maintaining long hair, try a different shampoo and conditioner. I've found that there's a world of difference between them, and occasionally swapping shampoo can help a fair bit. Silky long hair is great.

I love long hair if it's done tastefully. No ponytails, no mullets, no Jason Castro, and ABSOLUTELY nothing that would make someone think for even a second that you're from a rock band that got time-warped from the 80s. Shoulder-length or so, layered and styled tastefully, and well maintained can be VERY hot. I also like the semi-emo, hair swept over one eye look especially when it magically switches eyes from one minute to the next.

Oh well that's wayyy too long for my tastes. My hair is shoulder length and if I didn't put it back it would literally smother me. It's very thick and wavy and if I'm not trying to look good it's usually back but looks well that way.
