The new Lamborghini SUV is just like the old one --- awful

I'm not as much of a car guy as I used to be, when I saw this article on the new Lamborghini Urus SUV, all I could think to myself was, "What are they thinking?";

It's truly a dark day when a company with the history and reputation of Lamborghini whores itself out to the masses with SUVs, the lowest common denominator of car sales; the "easy way out".
It's bad enough that Cadillac, Chrysler, and Lincoln have resorted to SUV profits, but it's a new low for the industry that Lamborghini would do the same. Are Bentley, Bugatti, Ferarri, Vector Aeromotive, and Aston Martin next?
Let's also not forget the recent Porsche Cayenne debacle;

Moreover, they seem they've forgotten about what was possibly the biggest disaster in the history of their company --- the LM002;

The Urus also strongly resembles another infamous SUV catastrophe, the Aztec;

Ew, ew, ew, ewwwwww.
Ah well, it can haul a family at faster speeds if you get the right options put into it than a mini-van could ever do. I watched many of them race sports cars......till they flip. My favorite was a Grand Cherokee I saw years ago when I was heading west on I-44 in Misery....er....Missouri and he kept passing everyone in a flash. Only ten minutes later, see him do that again. Later on I saw him parked on the shoulder, only to zip out onto the lane of traffic. Now here's the insane part, there was nothing but me and him. Hell, if he came out any later, I would have ram his is has with my tractor. Driving an 18-wheeler at the time. Lucky for him, he did this stunt way earlier. Unlucky for him, in a split second, a brand new Corvette zipped into what WAS an empty lane. That Corvette launched that SUV into the air and rolled it over into the Meridian. Corvette actually didn't stop cause of the wreck. The driver just slowed down and pulled over onto the shoulder. Just had damage from where the SUV tires landed on his hood before it was launched forward. SUV did have his food pressed to the floor and a rear wheel drive.
I don't know what else happened from there. I kept going. After my last experience stopping to account witness information on a 10 car pile up, people will ALWAYS point blame to the nicely straight 18-wheeler.....who's body is made of plastic and fiberglass with SOME tin.....yeah.
Or to put it another way, who would take John Deere seriously if they started building cars? That same logic doesn't seem to "click" in the minds of most people on the Lamborghini Urus.
Firstly, lets face it, it's not an SUV. It can be as big as one, designed as one, and labelled as one, but it's not. SUVs are meant to be a step down from a 4x4, this thing is just a wagon with a suspension lift. Second, I do hope those tyres are NOT what's going to sold on it, but I bet they will be. Low profile tyres are sh-t around town, so why would anyone put them on an SUV? Oh, that's right, it's not one; never mind. Third place is given to the looks. I'll admit, I love it on the outside, and would gladly own something that looks like that, but the inside? I don't know. They were trying to be different, I think, and that much they did, but they just couldn't make it work.
All that said, I'm still interested to see what's inside of this baby..
