OH I know I do spoil you guys ;B! But what can I say I find art candy irresistible and it doesn't even give you cavities (unless there are eye cavities and then I'm in trouble 8C ) . So sorry for spamming your inboxes with gratuituous amounts of sugary eye lovlies <:...(I'm not realllly sorry though...I am sorry about not being sorry if that counts for something :>)
Anyway the very ultra sweet and mega talented
AlectorFencer is now selling the 'Backgrounds of Red Lantern' art book which features a fantastic collection of the many backgrounds she painted for the Red Lantern comic. A better description from Alector herself:
"Red Lantern - The Backgrounds is a collection of all background illustrations and landscape concepts of the renowned comic "Red Lantern - The Crimson Divine" by Rukis and AlectorFencer and includes 45 pages of full backgrounds, concepts, huge spread pages and full bleed comic pages that reveal you the world of the Shanivaar Islands where the story takes place.
The folio is a high quality printed (8 x 11 inch) on 170 g/m² thick paper, so quite a sturdy thick folio with lush colourful quality prints!"
Please do check it out. Right now she is also offering a limited time 15% off discount for anyone who pre-orders. I had the privilege (by virtue of being extra annoying and begging) of seeing some of these pieces outside the comic and it's just breathtaking to see them as standalone pieces C=. They have such presence in the comic panels but a life of their own outside of the comic as well!
So if you are a fan of the comic or just like delicious art books that can cover every open flat space in your home, as they do in mine, please do have a gander and give it your consideration.
