A call to all FA artists on my friends list (and further?)
Hello, Most of you know me. My name is Danruk, and I'm a kangaroo!
But my reason for writing today is not for me, it is for some one I cherish and love and is in desperate need of a little good will and get well wishes!
Some of you know I adore the companionship of my boyfriend, Ryalseth who is a mallard duck. Earlier in the week, he was walking to the bus stop to catch a bus to his college campus, slipped on some snow covered ice, and suffered two spiral fractures in the right leg. He needed surgery, and is now currently pent up and on a slow recovery process in a temporary soft cast until he gets a follow up appointment at the fracture clinic where they will likely put him in a full cast.
I humbly ask any of you who make and create the art that I appreciate watching over and looking at, if you could take even five minutes of your time, and even do a very simple sketch, whether it be your own character, a sketch of a mallard duck (morphic or non doesn't matter), or even something entirely other random of your choosing, and put a small get well wish and make it to his attention. I propose that you can upload it right here to the Fur Affinity board, and then send a link to it to his direct email. (email provided below) Not only would it brighten his day and bring a nice smile to his beaky bill but I will also be very appreciative because in a small way I feel like I've done something nice for Ryalseth on his behalf that he wasn't expecting at all.
Feel free to pass this message along to any one else in YOUR friends list who might also have a little sympathy for a very broken duck and that I might not know directly.
Let the message be spread, and you can do something truly wonderful for someone that will be thankful that there is a community out here, beyond just his boyfriend that cares for him very much!
Send any links to any get-well sketches that you post here to the attention of his email: ryalseth[at]hotmail.com
He does have wireless laptop connection. I want you all to "wow" him with responses, and I thank you ALL who do, ahead of time.
