I've something similar where there is a character for sale/acution and the artist who designed the character will draw a piece of the character for the buyer. Never seen someone factor in commissions they decided to buy when reselling a design. Not even sure how that works unless you mean you're selling your rights as the commissioner of those artworks onto the person who buys the design.
Personally if I was selling a character I'd just sell the design, the commissions were my decision at the time.
But yeah, in the end Bonnii's decision. I just got REALLY confused with how that would work XD
Sadly at the very moment I'm short on my pp but if you'll like, hold her for me and I'll throw you a note in near future when I have the money :D
