I left the house wed night, and drove to Norman Oklahoma, to pick up from there we drove out to Heavener, Ok to see the Runestone.
When we finally made it to the park we were a few hours early and having the Trailer attached to maxx we were unable to turn around, so we just set the parking break and took a nap till the manager came through on her way down to the store in town.
We had a great time and took much photo. And talked long with the manager after we had gone down and seen the MASSIVE stone upon which the Runes were carved.
From there we headed out stopping to snatch a few smilies by finding some geocaches.
One of the caches was located on the grounds of an abandoned school house. It was really cool Will try and find more info on the brick structure later, old ruins like that have always been of interest to me.
