I just read a story about a little baby girl who did from a disease that I had never even heard of. Apparently it is a very common killer and many children have already died from it. It is called SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrofy). The disease is genetic and there is a greater chance of having a baby born with it when both parents carry it. The blog I read that introduced me to it was called Avery's Bucket List. It just makes me soo sad to see such young children taken when they are soo very young.
