After 5 years of pulling double duty as a combination printer-scanner, that particular desktop device has died on me.
The good news is that it coincided quite nicely with my tax return. So there's a new one on the way.
Folks waiting with (mastur)bated breath for new arts from me will have to wait about a week or so until the new scanner comes in.
