Yup, got myself a 98 Sport. Not exactly in mint condition, but then again it wasn't $6-8k that other craigslist XJ's were selling for, this one was only 4. So yeah there are a few minor problems here and there that seem like easy fixes, so will be working on those before adding any kind of mods to it. As for the 3 hour drive home, it drove great! definetly not as sporty around the corner like the gayzer, but holy shit i had no idea how much of a torque monster these things are! give it a little gas and it just takes off like a rocket, and the thing just sailed over steep passes. Overall, i think theres a lot of potential in this thing
