Sooo, Monroe has been in the shop for a few days now. Due to limited funds we purchased a used inline-six with 100,000 miles on it still running strong. It's being repainted in factory blue and the old engine was removed. For those who don't know the other six had a piston blown out about 5 years before. Akito and I bought new wiring harnesses to be installed at the same place. The shop works with many exotics and muscle cars, she's in good hands. Would have made the swap myself but the apartment complex wont allow it. :/ Anyway, the original diagnosis revealed a few other issues with her. The water pump, choke, fuel injector are being replaced as well as some gaskets and lines. Things according to plan, she should be out and running by next week, or so we hope!
