Yay for the goat :3 it is indeed progress. Leeds is approximately the size of a small galaxy so there is a lot to take in, I'd just stick to the clinic area initially then see about fanning out gradually.

I've only been there once myself. So don't know the area that well, if at all. Here's hoping the clinic isn't too far from the train station (or coach, depending how you're getting there).
