Excerpt from my Final Fantasy 7 story

The blond haired male walked around anxiously in the back of the crowded wagon. He was surrounded by his military peers, members from SOLDIER. He was a SOLDIER first class, a rank he worked so hard to get. He so wanted to be like his idol Sephiroth! Sadly he missed the war just passed, so he didn't too much have a chance to fight beside him. Today though, he was here with them. Sephiroth, the silver haired hazy blue-eyed SOLDIER first class. He was known for his incredible amounts of strength and magic. He stood at an off corner from him, doing enthusiastic quick squats.
"Wow my first real mission! I get to face it with you too Sephiroth. So we are going to be eliminating monster in a small town?"
He focused his MAKO infused eyes on the silent male, a goofy excited grin on his face. Sephiroth looked up at the male chuckling dryly, giving a shake of his head, the long silvery strands of his perfect hair dangling about.
"Are you always this excited on a mission?"
"Well its my first real mission! Ive been doing everything I could to get up to your rank and fight beside you, but just as I received rank, the war was over. So Ive been taking little missions here and there to do something useful with my time, and now we have this one! What was the name of the town we are going to be liberating from the monster threat?"
He laughed lightly and shifted in his position, the infamous sword that only he could wield, lay to his side idly against the wall of the wagon, the pitter patter of rain filling the air.
"Nibelheim. Its a town surrounded by mountains and an old MAKO reactor. We think the problem may be that the MAKO reactor is making the local wild life mutate."
He closed his eyes and settled against the wall of the wagon, his body swaying slightly from the motions of the moving vehicle. The blond haired male tilted his head slightly, a slight frown coming across his face. He ran his hand over a few spiky points of his hair before tapping his foot looking down.
"Nibelhiem? That's my old home town. Cloud from Nibelheim. I was called that by the other high ranking SOLDIERs"
He frowned slightly then shrugged it off, the frizzed feeling of his excitement coming back. He stood erect and peered out the drenched window, the only one that was in the wagon anyway. Couldn't see a thing with all that wind and rain in view anyway. Just as Cloud was about to sit back down the wagon came to an abrupt stop. The driver, who was also a member of SOLDIER, started cursing in a foreign language before turning his head slightly to look at the others. Cloud had never heard any type of accent like that before.
"I am sorry my friends, it seems the engine has gone out. We may be stuck out here a while before we get to our destination. I will go ahead and find some help, sit tight."
He swiftly flung open the drivers side door of the car and hopped out, closing the metal door with a creak and a slam. The other men let out loud sighs and groans of disapproval of being stranded virtually in the middle of no where. Cloud gave a light laugh and started to wave his hand about.
"Hey hey now men! Lets not worry about this little mishap! Things will shape up sooner or later, we will just have to find something to occupy our time, am I right?"
Cloud grinned gleefully as he looked from member to member, then to Sephiroth, noticing that he was staring at him dead on. His eyes were almost burning into his body. He gulped slightly, and hopefully not visibly, as he returned his gaze to the silver haired warrior, not as harsh as his though. Sephiroth smirked as he stared at the blonde male, something he was not known to really do, or even remotely was capable of. Today however, he was smirking, and it gave Cloud a feeling in his gut he knew all too well. Fear.
"S-Something the matter Sephiroth?"
All he could manage was that small sentence, every other word and phrase that could've suited the situation better had flown straight from his mind. He stumbled backwards slightly as Sephiroth stood up, his 6' stature much more dominating and intimidating than his own 5'7 height. Sephiroth let out a dark chuckle as he stood practically towering over the male, moving a stray strand of hair from his face.
"Whats the matter Cloud? You suggested we do something fun, and I'm going to do something to have it. My way of course."
