About a fursuit...

I'm in a dilemma. Maybe it's not as hard as it could be or as I think it'd be.
I want a fursuit, no goo effects or anything, just fabric.
I have the following pros and cons.
PROS
- I would feel a bigger part of the community or more out of the closet about it.
- Would give me more reason to attend fur meets.
- More actively take part in community and said fur meets.
- MAY help me move out but I'll get to that in a sec.
- I could maybe keep it at a friend's house locally who is a furry.
CONS
- I have a family who my brother would think I was nuts, mother who'd think I was insane, dad who'd probably lose it and rest of my family would think I was just outright crazy.
- Would be hard to hide in my wardrobe and thing is, almost the whole of the town knows me, small town. I work in the cheapest petrol station for miles so we get a lot of customers who are beginning to think I live in there because of how many days I cover due to low staff.
- The mental stigma of it would be problematic with friends at the same time.
- I want to be a cop, they don't need to know
- Even if I kept it at a friend's house, I'd still be stuck in this backwater town.
- I might be overthinking it to the point that I'm moving for a fursuit.

I'm just kinda thinking about work at the same time. I don't have money saved to hold out until I can get a job or anything. Also I like the team I have now at work but mmm.
I'm thinking maybe I'm even thinking too big, too fast. I'm wanting too much too quick even. I'll think about it more.
Also don't you live in Barrow? Where do you live since I'm in Barrow now lol
Would you have any other use for it outside furmeets?
How often will you be wearing it in a year?
Payment, I guess I could try saving a grand or more in GBP for it but no idea how much they cost.
Will it only be wearable only as a full suit, or can you look just as good with wearing just one or a few parts of it?
If it was a city I'm sure I'd not stand out so much, but in a small town like mine, everyone would be commenting on it.
When I visit my parents I keep it in a snazzy padlocked luggage bag thats like fort knox on wheels, which I picked up from Argos They would think I'm crazy so I have no intention of EVER telling them!
And as for wanting to be a cop... trust me, they aren't bothered
And with the whole crushing thing, I was kinda panicky when I had my suit shipped to me but the material the head is made out of is a sturdy foam, it can be squashed slightly but it never breaks and always springs back to its original shape :)
But once people start asking, if they do, i'll think of something lol
idk who you could find a maker im sure.
You're family is your origins, but your destination is your own. Do what you feel in your soul is right, but to listen to it you need to ignore all the fears that life has given you.

That's genrally what I'd do.
Live with 'rents and no space to keep it stored >.<
One day i'll be able to have a workshop to make 'scalesuits' from silicone or foam rubber.
Til then though only dreaming o.O
